To use an RTSX Torque Sensor:

  1. Connect the RTSX sensor to a compatible Mountz LTT or PTT Torque Analyzer.
  2. Verify all cable and mechanical connections before testing.
  3. Install the appropriate drive adapters or tooling for the application.
  4. Allow ARC II technology to automatically recognize the connected sensor and load its calibration information.
  5. Perform torque verification, calibration, or production testing while the sensor measures rotary torque.

RTSX sensors include an ISO 17025 Certificate of Calibration and provide a system accuracy of ±0.5% of reading from 20–100% of full scale and ±1% from 10–20% of full scale when connected to a compatible Mountz LTT or PTT Torque Analyzer. RTSX sensors are recommended for most hand tools, power tools, and rotational measurement applications, but are not recommended for impact wrenches.
