The new heads are manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel. Mountz also identifies off-corner loading as a feature designed to reduce wear and extend wrench head life.

The 17-4 PH stainless steel specification applies specifically to these newer Open, Box, and Flare heads and should not be assumed to apply to previous versions or other Mountz wrench head types.

TBX-12 Type A Wrench Heads
