Setup & Adjustment

To use a BLRTSX-A Torque Sensor:

  1. Connect the BLRTSX-A sensor to a compatible Mountz LTT or PTT Torque Analyzer.
  2. Verify all cable and mechanical connections before testing.
  3. Install the appropriate drive adapters or tooling for the application.
  4. Allow ARC II technology to automatically recognize the connected sensor and load its calibration information.
  5. Perform torque verification, calibration, or joint testing while the sensor measures both torque and rotational angle.
  6. Review and record torque and angle data through the connected torque analyzer.

BLRTSX-A sensors include an ISO 17025 Certificate of Calibration and provide a system accuracy of ±0.5% of reading from 20–100% of full scale and ±1% from 10–20% of full scale when connected to a compatible Mountz LTT or PTT Torque Analyzer. They provide 2-channel quadrature angle output with 360 pulses per revolution, allowing measurement of rotation angle, joint rate, and breakaway torque.
